Riverwood has been providing quality care for the communities of Aitkin, McGregor, Garrison, and surrounding areas for more than half a century.
Now, we embark on a $21 million project to expand and upgrade the medical campus in Aitkin to meet the area's growing and changing healthcare needs.
With your help, we will add nearly 70,000 square feet of new and renovated space to our facility to better serve patients and enhance the healing process. These improvements will increase patient privacy, allow nurses more time at the bedside, and provide the latest in healthcare innovation and amenities.
With lots of community support and donations, we did it! We have secured $600,000 to support the hospital expansion project through the Otto Bremer Foundation challenge grant. Donations to the Better Together campaign were doubled up to $300,000. For more, see our news release.
