BETTER TOGETHER CAMPAIGN PROGRESS
The total cost of the project is estimated at $21 million. Riverwood has received a $12 million low-interest loan from the United States Department of Agriculture and an additional $4 million in financing from AgStar Financial. While it was originally planned to proceed with the expansion and upgrades in phases, we have determined that Riverwood will realize $6 million in cost savings by moving forward with the entire project now due to the availability of financing at unprecedented low interest rates.
Community support is a key component of the overall financing package. Our goal is to secure at least $2.2 million for this important project through the Better Together Capital Campaign.

Hospital Nursing will schedule a nurse’s aide to be available to assist patients at the entrance as needed during peak hours the first few days and as needed during this construction work.
