Name: Peter Stokman, MD Cardiologist, Minneapolis Heart Institute-Brainerd Lakes Education: University of Nebraska Medical School Specialty areas of practice: Echocardiography, nuclear medicine, cardiac MRI and preventatitve cardiology Personal philosophy/approach to medical care: I started my medical career as an internist, caring for patients from the Brainerd and Crosby area. I'm excited to practice in this area where my friends and neighbors are also my patients. As a cardiologist with the Minneapolis Heart Institute, I'm able to bring the support and expertise of a nationally recognized heart program to my patients and practice. Location(s) for patient care: Aitkin, Baxter and Crosby Hobbies/interests: I live with my wife, Marcie, and children in Crosby, where I enjoy family activities, reading and classical music. I'm an avid mountain biker and cycling enthusiast. |
